Exercise #1 – “Keeper+3 v 3 + Keeper”:

GR+3x3+GR

Description:

Game situation Keeper+3 v 3+Keeper.  In the delimited space, teams of 4 players including a Keeper try to outscore the opponent in a game of 1 to 2 minutes long.

Objectives:

– Addressing even numbers finishing situations;

– 1v1 game situations;

– Protecting the spaces that allow the opponent to have goal scoring situations;

– Control of spaces;

– Pressure the ball carrier;

– Close the spaces after loss of possession.

Thoughts:

The objective of this Exericse is that players have continuously the opportunity to finish.  If this doesn’t happen, we have to modify some of the elements, e.g. the attackers-defenders relationship or the field of play dimensions.
