Exercise about numerical superiority

Exercise from the ebook Teaching Soocer Italian Style – Available for iPad at https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/teaching-soccer-italian-style/id903908631?mt=8

This activity works with the concept of numerical superiority. It develops as follows:

The team is divided in two groups; the coach organizes the players as shown in the picture and each player of both teams has a number from 1 to 4 (in this example). Then, inside the square, in the opposite position of the goal, place a Jolly player. When coach calls a number, both players of both teams start running towards one ball in the middle of the field. The first player to get to the ball passes it to the Jolly and they immediately start the 2vs1 situation.
The forwards have 6-7 seconds to shoot on goal and we can introduce the offside soccer rule.

*Coach can call 2 or more numbers at the same time. This way we can create a 3vs2 or 4vs3 game situation.
*Coach can introduce one more Jolly to create a 3vs1 situation.
