Description: In the space depicted above, we place a player in center of the diamond formed by the red cones. The remainder players also with the ball, place themselves between the red cones and yellow cones. At the Coach’s signal, the “external” players must place themselves in the clock-direction or counter-clockwise, moving the ball with indicated body surface (right foot, left foot), while the “interior” player must also move but in the opposite direction. When the Coach signals again the “external” players must carry the ball as fast as possible towards one of the goals, marked by the red poles. The “external” players try to reach the goal before the “interior” player impedes him from crossing the goal line with the ball. If the “interior” player is successful he exchanges functions with the “external” player. Exercise created by Pedro Mendonça for TacticalPedia (www.tacticalpedia.com)
