This exercise has the goal to coach passing combinations among the players to build from the back, which start from their positions and develop the possession exchanging among themselves positions and spaces. The players start from fixed roles: Num 5 is a center back, Num 2 and num 3 are outside back and the Num 8 is a center midfielder. The player with the ball on the lower cone decides the side were to pass and the other two players must run forward (the opposite outside player) and as support vertex (the center midfielder); the outside player with the possession passes forward to the center midfielder. The opposite outside player becomes the upper vertex to receive and pass back as the center back runs outside to open the spaces for the support run of the first outside player. The last part of the sequence is a forward pass to the running outside player and a back pass to start again on the other side. All the players will play in all the roles as the exercise goes on.
