Set up as befre but the player who plays the first pass then defends 3v1 with the team of 3 having to hold their shap in 1 half of the playing area. This will encourage them moving it quickly from side to side to try and find that forward pass. Patients encouraged where needed.If the defender wins the ball they can score in the net situated behind the central player.Progression: On giving the ball away the 3 players in possession can quickly narrow in to try and win it back and if they do get their shape again quickly.The final pass must be played to within the width of the mini goal or 2 cones, the player waiting cannot make side to side movements as that will defeat the purpose of the central split pass we are trying to create
