EXERCISE 2

Attacking Wall Passes

As before but working on a different combination.

The ball is played into the top player (bottom players movement can initiate this) and set back for a round the corner pass and then the return pass.

possible variations:

- introduce a shot on goal
- add defender and go 2v1 to goal giving the players a decision to make about what combination to use for success

EXERCISE 1

Attacking Wall Passes

exercise 1:

Passing pattern with the ball driven into into the feet of a player who could be a central attacking mid, second striker or a number 10 depending on the formation that you are playing.

this players movement and angle to receive allows them to play a pass around one side of the poll to move and receive on the other.

the ball is played back to the start with a driven pass but this can be replaced by a shot on goal or a 1v1 / 2v1 to goal

GAME

5v5 in the middle with the players trying to play into striker then support him. 3 can support like the drill and once the ball goes into the strikers area the defenders can recover

DEVELOPMENT

Passing pattern as before leading to a four v two with two recovering defender
