BLUE DAY / PLAYING IN DEPTH

1. Play 4v4 in the middle zone
2. One Attacker/defender in each end zone
3. Teams must connect three passes before they can pass to the neutral player in the end zone, the attacker then lays off for a shot on goal or 2vs1 play
4. Switch players in end zones

Proressions:
- Play 5v5, 6v6, in the middle zone etc.
- Play with 2 mini goals on each goal line
- Limit number of touches for attackers
- Adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group

CREATIVITY AND COMBINATION PLAY

Coaching Points: Type Coaching Points Here ... Target group-stereotypes cooperation in defense, less space between the lines, fast transition after winning the ball, create chances and achieve goals; Non-target group-quality ball possession, create chances and achieving goals, speed of playing and decision making.

PASSING LANES

In this drill, the field is rectangular forcing more predictable passes. The roles for the defenders is mainly to follow the predicatble next pass and try to intercept.

Progression: allow players in the defensive phase to press higher on the ball cover the possible next player to receive.


STRIKER MOVEMENT 4-4-2

Players can go into any zone when there team has possession but must stay in their dedicated zone out of possession or recover to their zone when their team loose the ball.

Progression, 1/2 defenders can recover into a zone behind them when the ball goes in


PASSING WARM UP

Set up: Pitch 50x65m; balls, cones ...

Organization: The soccer drills always begins from the position A. Exercise is devloping by passing on both sides to the position B, and over position C becomes a circular passing exercise.

Coaching points: - Accuracy of passing - imperative
- Use both feet to pass
- Ball on the ground
- Change pace with ball

Duration: 2 x 3,5`; r/t 1,5`


GAME

5v5 in the middle with the players trying to play into striker then support him. 3 can support like the drill and once the ball goes into the strikers area the defenders can recover
