Set up: whole pitch divided in three parts; balls cones, ladder
Organization: On place 1 players working passing ball exercises with the rotation A-B, B-C and C-A on the one side and D-E, E-F and F-D on the other side. On place B players working passing exercises with finishing and agility ladder with rotation. On plae C players play rondo 8 vs 2 game. Players doing three exercises in rotation, blue and red team. Blue team doing specific passing exercises until the red team play rondo and vice versa.

ALLENARE IL 3 CONTRO 2 IN SITUAZIONI REALI DI GIOCO
In questa esercitazione abbiamo 3 gruppi di giocatori posizionati come nel video: i gialli (attaccanti), i rossi (difensori), i blu (centrocampisti). I giocatori blu eseguono esercizio di passaggio in coppia come in video con un elemento che, fermo sul cono, scambia la palla con un compagno che ad ogni scambio si sposta velocemente su un altro cono dopo aver aggirato una sagoma (o paletto).
I giocatori gialli invece eseguono il percorso indicato in figura a due alla volta, partendo uno di seguito all’altro: parte il primo che esegue il percorso con balzi monopodalici tra i cerchi (al loro posto possiamo mettere ostacoli ed eseguire salti bipodalici), successivamente, cambi di direzione tra i coni fino a portarsi sul cono posto al vertice dell’area piccola. Stesso percorso esegue il secondo giocatore.
I giocatori rossi eseguono lo stesso percorso dei gialli dalla parte opposta: il percorso viene eseguito sempre da due elementi che partono uno successivamente all’altro. Alla fine del percorso i giocatori gialli (quello che arriva per primo) troveranno un pallone.
A questo punto le coppia di giocatori rossi e la coppia di giocatori gialli eseguiranno una serie di passaggi tra i coni ed ognuno ad ogni passaggio andrà ad aggirare la rispettiva sagoma (o paletto).
Lo scambio avviene in modo continuo sia tra le coppie gialle e rosse e sia tra la coppia blu posta al centro del campo per il tempo stabilito dal Mister.
Al segnale del Mister il giocatore blu in possesso di palla giocherà la sfera nel Settore verso gli attaccanti gialli, dopo aver abbandonato lo scambio insieme ai difensori rossi, cercheranno un movimento di smarcamento a ricevere, inseguiti dai difensori stessi, e in tal modo si attiva una situazione di 3vs2 in favore dei gialli in quanto il giocatore blu segue il passaggio dopo averlo eseguito, e va a sostegno degli attaccanti spostandosi nel Settore.
Gli attaccanti gialli, con l’aiuto del centrocampista blu, dovranno uscire dal Settore dopo aver evitato l’opposizione dei difensori rossi, ed entrare in area di rigore per concludere a rete entro il tempo massimo di 10 secondi

DEVELOPMENT
The ky to this session is to create a situation where players are going 1v1 to goal and work on the skills needed to be successful in these situations.
After a warm up the players go into this drill. It starts with a pass where the attacker meets the ball and plays a give and go with a wall player before playing 1v1 beyond the white line.
The first slides show the player roles and player rotations, the group at the top of the screen will be performing the same drill.
If the defender wins the ball they should aim to carry it over the white line to work on defence to attack transition.
1v1 to goal coaching:
- Carry the ball with close control
- Run at the defender to commit them
- Once close enough perform a skill/sharp change of direction
- Accelerate out the other side so momentum takes you to goal
- Finish early
- Alway scan the pitch to know where the defender is/GK/space

INTRO
Timing Forward Runs
Coaching:
-Check away from the space you are looking to attack, always scan to be aware of the defender and where he/she is looking
-Turn feet and body early to face forward
-Indicate where you want the ball to be played with hand signals
-Time run to receive the ball without having to slow down
Progression:
-Once the ball is played add pressure from behind to ensure shots are taken early
-Both teams tace to score first to improve speed of play
-When playing the forward pass between the full back and centre back, once the passer touches the ball allow the full back to then come alive and try and stop the through ball

DISGUISED PASS GAME
A simple 4 goal game with a condition to bring out the theme.
It is 5v5+1 and every member of the team of 5 has been allocated a number. When that number is called the player must run and touch a cone off the pitch before re-joining play.
This really stretches the team out of possession as it's now 5v4 with 2 goals to defend, opening up the oppertunities to play disguised passes through the opposition lines or into 1 of the goals.
This game will give a lot of oppertunity to coach pressing as a team, defending out numbered, being compact/patient and looking for pressing triggers.

The video speaks more than the words. What is special about drills that defenders will have to organize or re organize twice every time. Once protecting the first goal keeper and the second time the second goal keeper.
Please note that these drills are general and not team specific. What I mean to say that every coach must have the ability to rin the drills the way best for his team and players. If you find your defenders while possession the ball and in attack, if you find they lose the ball easily, you might add another line of players responsible for attacks. Another suggestion would be adding one more player, could be neutral, to the team while on attack giving them more chance to hold the ball. These drills meant to focus on defenders and they must be devised to assure so.
